Turmec integrates municipal solid waste recycling processing equipment from market leading suppliers in waste separation technology, to produce a high-quality separation process along with a substantial percentage recovery.
The municipal solid waste recycling separation process can target client-specific materials; these would typically consist of organics, ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals, dense plastics, plastic film and paper/card. This separation process will reduce or eliminate the need for landfill.

Turmec can also offer a full Mechanical Biological Treatment (MBT) package as a solution to any waste treatment requirements. This comprises of front-end Materials Recovery Facility (MRF), with a composting facility for the organic fraction and segregated residual. The compost is created in the composting process over a period of time, where it will be then passed through a backend clean up plant which produces a Compost Like Output (CLO).
